I have a question, and a thought exercise for you today …
What do YOU most want to achieve in the next 3, 5, and 10 years?
Only you can figure out the specifics of this …
However,
Once you know your goals and desires, I would also encourage you to ask this:
What is the most efficient path to get you there?
Right now, the answer for MOST dentists, who desire things like.
Growth of their business.
The ability to extract equity from their business.
The ability to securely retire and hand off the business.
The ability to have a more relaxed quality of life and lifestyle.
The MOST efficient and sensible path for achieving these things (and goals similar) is going to be through a DSO.
Right now, and for the next few years, we are seeing a rapid rise in DSOs.
Investors are hungry to put their money into businesses that have high margins and are here to stay for many years (because this translates to a place for them to securely hold their investment while producing yield income).
We’re also experiencing a DECREASE in traditional buying and selling of dental practices.
For many dental practices, the ONLY clear answer they will find for getting what they want is through these growing investment channels.
So, I’ll ask again.
What do YOU really want in your business and your life? And how can you best achieve this?
